Infernia Coin

Guide

What is the Infernia Coin

Infernia Coin Infernia Coin

The Infernia Coin is Infernia's global currency, and the point of it is this: you never have to spend real money to get it. It drops from every boss in the game, comes out of the daily events, and you can also earn it by selling rare gear you no longer use to an NPC.

Three routes, in short:

  • Killing bosses — every boss in the game can drop it.
  • In the daily events — all five events in the draw pay coin.
  • Trading with an NPC — Elendur, in the temple of Infernia City, upper floor, takes rare gear and pays you in coin; and Anarrella trades dungeon coin for Infernia Coin.

It replaced the old Forge Token, Copper Token and Titanium Token, which are suspended: one currency now does the work of three.

Killing bosses

Every boss in the game can drop the coin, through the boss reward system - there is no specific boss to farm, any of them works. It yields Infernia Coin 1 to 3 coins, at a ~20% chance. It is the most reliable source in the game.

The chance already accounts for the server's 4x loot rate. The full list of boss drops is on the Boss Reward System page.

In the daily events

Every day the server draws one event at 02:00, 06:00, 10:00, 14:00, 18:00 and 22:00 server time - six a day. Five events are in the draw, each with a 20% chance per slot, and all five pay Infernia Coin. There is nothing to do to join beyond being online when it opens.

Event Coins Who gets it
Zombie Event Infernia Coin 10 / 5 / 2 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
Snowball Event Infernia Coin 10 / 5 / 2 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
Battlefield Infernia Coin 10 for each player of the winning team
Capture the Flag Infernia Coin 10 for each player of the winning team
Battle Royale Infernia Coin 3 for the winner

Battlefield and Capture the Flag pay per player on the team, not just one winner - they hand out the most coin of the five.

Trading with NPCs

Where to find Elendur: he stands in the temple of Infernia City, on the upper floor, in the same corner as Yana and Gnomally — the city's currency-NPC corner. He is also at two other spots on the map, so you do not have to walk back to the city just to sell.

Elendur — his shop runs entirely on Infernia Coin. He buys 192 pieces of rare gear you probably have sitting in your depot, and pays in coin:

  • Infernia Coin 6 — the sanguine line (blade, razor, coil, bow, crossbow, rod, legs, boots and the rest of the set)
  • Infernia Coin 3 — the soul line (soulbiter, souleater, soulbleeder, soulmaimer, soulpiercer, soulshroud), alicorn quiver, arboreal crown and friends
  • Infernia Coin 1 — everything else: prismatic, gill, earthheart/fireheart/frostheart, yalahari, rainbow shields, spellbooks and the like

He also sells five consumables, paid in the same coin:

  • special prey scroll — Infernia Coin 25
  • reflect potion — Infernia Coin 15
  • dust bottle — Infernia Coin 15
  • exp bottle — Infernia Coin 15
  • exercise token — Infernia Coin 5

Anarrella — trades 5 dungeon coins for Infernia Coin 1. Useful if you farm dungeons and want to convert.

Both are on the map and do not need to be summoned.

Shortcut through the Store

If you would rather not farm, the coin is available directly in the in-game Store for 25 tibia coins each, in packs of 1, 10 or 25. It is only a shortcut: everything the coin buys can also be earned by playing.
