What is the Monster Hunt?

The Monster Hunt is a server-wide competition, and it needs no sign-up: it simply starts, and whoever is online is already taking part.

Five minutes before, a warning goes out on broadcast. At the hour, the game draws one creature and announces which one. From then on you have 30 minutes to kill as many of that creature as you can, wherever you like, in any hunt on the map.

The game counts your kills and tells you in chat how many you have so far. The count is not lost if you log out, and the prize lands in your Store Inbox even if you are offline when the result comes in.
